Update: June 19, 2021<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

From Sunday, June 20, 2021, France will no longer be considered a risk area! <\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

i.e. there is no longer any obligation to test on return journey by car or train, only air travellers still have to show a negative test. Furthermore, the digital entry registration is omitted.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the curfew during the evening (from 23 h) will be suspended already on 20. June 2021!<\/p>\n

Update: June 05, 2021<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

As of 09 June 2021, travellers from the EU and the Schengen area will no longer be required to test fully vaccinated and recovered<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

For non-vaccinated people, the following also applies: PCR tests are no longer mandatory, an antigen test can also be carried out. Again, the following applies: not older than 72 hours.<\/p>\n

Update: May 22, 2021<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

France will no longer be a high incidence area from 23. May 2021 and will be downgraded from Germany to a risk area! <\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Update: May 13, 2021 – Neur regulation of the quarantine ordinance (Germany-wide)<\/strong><\/span>
\n
\nReturn journey from risk areas (weekly incidence higher than 50 – 200):<\/strong>
\nthe quarantine requirement is no longer applicable if a negative test is detected even for non-vaccinated people (the proof can be uploaded in the digital entry application – information on the test possibilities<\/a> as well as on the retrieval of the result in a separate news letter)
\nReturn journey for fully vaccinated and recovered: the digital entry registration must be completed. A PCR test is not required!
\n
\nReturn journey from a high incidence area (weekly incidence higher than 200):<\/strong>
\nthe quarantine obligation remains, this can be shortened at the earliest after 5 days by a negative test
\n
\nReturn journey from a virus variant area:<\/strong>
\nthe quarantine period is 14 days and cannot be shortened by test<\/p>\n

On 29. April 2021, the next steps were announced with a view to the exit from the 3rd lock-down in France. This essentially provides for the following:<\/p>\n

As of May 3, 2021<\/strong><\/span>
\n– travelling is possible again without a convincingly reason
\n(a negative PCR test and a self-declaration are required – see also newsletter dated April 23, 2021)
\n– the 10 or 30 km radius is omitted
\n– the nocturnal initial restriction remains for no good reason
\n– important for the journey in and through France: from 3 May 2021, hotels in the country will be allowed to accommodate tourists again
\n(Catering by room service until 19. May 2021)<\/p>\n

Update: May 11, 2021<\/strong><\/span>
\n– Children under the age of 11 do not need a negative PCR test to enter France – here the self-declaration for children under 11 years<\/a> (d\u00e9claration pour voyageur de moins de 11 ans)
\n– for fully vaccinated and recoveries, the quarantine obligation on the return trip to Germany is lifted (please also observe the regulations of the individual federal states here)
\n– a negative PCR test is required for the return journey to Germany (max. 48 hours old) – except for this regulation are fully vaccinated or recoveries<\/p>\n

As of May 19, 2021<\/strong><\/span>
\n– the outdoor terraces of the restaurants and bistros opens
\n– opening of all shops (non-daily needs) in compliance with hygiene rules
\n– opening of museums, theatres and cinemas
\n– the nocturnal exit limit for no good reason is extended to 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

As of June 9, 2021<\/span><\/strong>
\n– the indoor gastronomy opens
\n– the nocturnal exit limit for no good reason is extended to 11 p.m.
\n– opening of sports facilities<\/p>\n

As of June 30, 2021<\/span><\/strong>
\n– removal of the ban on events with a personal limit
\n– repeal of the nocturnal curfew<\/p>\n

Beaches are of course open and fully accessible and are not subject to closures.<\/p>\n

With very low incidence, regional lyrelaxation is planned. For example, an eight-stage hygiene concept for early opening steps and suspension of curfew hours has already been submitted by the Department of Alpes-Maritimes, as the incidence levels there are currently among the lowest in France. Regional solutions are therefore already being sought here.<\/p>\n

Update: 11 May 2021<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/span>You can find out about the current incidence values in the individual departments daily via the following link<\/a> (the update usually takes place in the evening around 9 p.m.). For example.B in the Var department, incidence levels have fallen from around 400 to 140 in the last month, and the numbers continue to fall daily.<\/p>\n

Vaccination is also progressing rapidly in France, and the over-50s have been vaccinated since 10 May 2021.<\/p>\n
