Port Grimaud

Built in the 1960s by the architect Francois Spoerry, the lagoon city offers a unique architecture with buildings in all pastel shades. Crossed by numerous canals, the alleys and squares are connected by small bridges. The exclusivity of the properties is underlined by the private boat moorings in front of the respective villas/holiday homes. The real estate prices in Port Grimaud are among the most expensive in the region due to the limited supply.

Places of interest

In any case we recommend the 20 minute canal tours offered by “Navette Bateau” in Port Grimaud or the ferry connections to St. Tropez or Sainte Maxime with the “Bateaux Verts”.

In Port Grimaud there are two spacious beaches that are worth a visit. A map of the lagoon city can be found here.

Restaurant tips

We recommend the restaurant “Le Plaisancier” at the Place des Artisans and the beach restaurant “Tangerine Plage” which offers a wonderful view into the bay of St. Tropez. For a quick snack on the way or to take it with you to your own apartment or holiday home, the Chinese snack bar “Thai Boat” is a good choice – here you will find good quality and a huge selection of food (to be found at the roundabout at the entrance Port Grimaud-South, near the small bridge crossing the coastal road).
