The “Villa Bartavelle” is a property in an exceptional location, of which there are only a very limited number. With direct beach access, the property offers an almost unassic feature and of course a fantastic panoramic sea view.
The villa is located near the large beaches of Sainte Maxime in La Nartelle and you can reach both Sainte Maxime and Les Issambres without traffic jams. The centre of Les Issambres is about 2.3 km away, a distance that can be easily walked along the sea. The nearest beach restaurant is only 50 m away, and there are numerous other beach restaurants on the beaches of “La Nartelle”.
The villa
The “Villa Bartavelle” was built in a natural stone look on a plot of approx. 750 m² in a direct beach location. In addition to a well-kept garden with barbecue, the property offers also a 5 x 10 m swimming pool.
The villa offers a living space of approx. 115 m² with a spacious living / dining room with panoramic sea views, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a small children’s room in the tower and two bathrooms.
A spacious terrace is located in front of the living room and another terrace area for sunbathing with direct beach access one level lower. Extensive renovation work took place in winter 2021/2022 and included the following changes:
– breakthrough from the kitchen to the living room and partial renovation of the kitchen (so you can now also enjoy the fantastic sea view from the kitchen)
– modernization of both bathrooms
– almost complete replacement of the furniture
– renewal of the window system in the living room
– renewal of the window system in the living room

Customer feedback
It was wonderful-wonderful 😊 we are so thrilled that we could spend the week at Villa Bartavelle. It was a dream location for us and therefore a dream vacation week, thank you very much. To live so directly by the sea, completely in the rhythm of nature is something special.
If by chance it would be possible again next year in the same week or even a little earlier in September we would like to rent the villa for 2 weeks….(stay September/October 2023)
Enclosed is brief feedback for you:
– very nice house with great and working interior design
– great location – restricting noise from the street
– 3 days no internet and TV due to storm in south of France
– But agency on site has taken good care of it
– Refinery workers strike – hardly any gasoline- return trip via Switzerland
– no waste separation possible (is not comparable with our situation)
– Overall rating : very good
A dream home with direct sea access – ★★★★★
The house in direct beach location a dream. We, actually regular restaurant visitors, always cooked ourselves and ate on the beautiful terrace with sea view. It couldn’t have been better. The house itself is newly renovated. The furnishings are partly new, simple, mostly in white and cozy. The bathrooms are brand new, small but functional. There are bars on the windows so that you can leave the windows open at night; still no mosquitoes. The house is ideal for 3-4 people, the beds are 200 and 160 cm and it is louder towards the front (pool side/street side), at the back you can really only hear the sea. Unfortunately, you can only get to the towns by bus (bus stop nearby) or car, as the sidewalks are partly missing or blocked with cars. We 2+ dog will definitely come back. (Stay July 2022)
At the end of September / beginning of October we were allowed to spend our vacations at Villa Bartavelle in Sainte Maxime.
The house is beautifully located and we were completely satisfied with the infrastructure. Also with the “service” of Mrs. Caroline Boot – very professional and attentive.
Dream vacation directly on the beach – ★★★★★ (4,8/5)
We stayed with the family for 3 weeks at Villa Bartavelle and will definitely be back! Whether in the beautiful garden by the pool or on the terrace with direct beach access and sea view – here every family member has found his favorite place. The house is exactly as described in the exposé. Great equipped kitchen – we cooked a lot, because you can sit so dreamily by the sea (better than in any restaurant). As golfers we also got our money’s worth, as there are several golf courses within a few km. The only minus point: the house has no air conditioning. But due to the cooling that came from the sea in the evening, it was still pleasant. Most of all, we liked the spontaneous swimming in the sea, just in the morning out of bed into the water! Everything top – gladly again! (Stay June 2019)
