Conditions for COVID-19 conditional cancellation
Requirements for a 100% refund of rent amounts already paid
In case of border closures imposed by the governments, or curfews or quarantine regulations at the place of destination by the French government, which would prevent your arrival on the planned day of arrival or drastically restrict the freedom of movement at the holiday destination during the day, a 100% refund of the rental amount will be made by the owner.
A cancellation or handling fee will also not be charged in this case.
Travel warnings (or quarantine rules) issued by neighboring countries or the holidaymaker’s home country are excluded as they do not constitute a travel ban and the owner can fully comply with his contractual obligation to provide the rental property.
These risks are also not covered by travel cancellation insurances.
For all other cancellations, the usual terms and conditions of withdrawal from our rental conditions apply as follows:
The customer can withdraw from the trip at any time before the start of the rental. Decisive is the receipt of the written notice of withdrawal to Azurrental. The withdrawal costs are fixed as follows:
– if the lessee provides a sub-tenant who assumes all contractual obligations, there are no costs,
– if the tenant withdraws up to 61 days before the start of the rental, only a handling fee of 150,- Euro will be incurred
– in case of withdrawal 60-45 days before the start of the rental, 25% of the total rental price will be charged,
– in the event of a withdrawal of 44 to 30 days before the start of the rental, 50% of the total rental price will be charged,
– in the event of a withdrawal of 29 to 14 days before the start of the rental, 75% of the total rental price will be charged,
– in the event of a later withdrawal, the entire rental price must be paid
– if the tenant withdraws up to 61 days before the start of the rental, only a handling fee of 150,- Euro will be incurred
– in case of withdrawal 60-45 days before the start of the rental, 25% of the total rental price will be charged,
– in the event of a withdrawal of 44 to 30 days before the start of the rental, 50% of the total rental price will be charged,
– in the event of a withdrawal of 29 to 14 days before the start of the rental, 75% of the total rental price will be charged,
– in the event of a later withdrawal, the entire rental price must be paid
Thus, you can follow the further developments up to two months before arrival, without a pro rata rental payment would be due in the event of termination. This would only result in the handling fee of 150 euros for the complete reversal.
