A little inland, about 5 km from the bustling coast, you will find the high medieval village of Grimaud-Village, which is particularly notable for its 11th-century castle ruins and beautiful views of the Bay of St. Tropez. The charming town with its old alleys and fountains is beautifully restored and it is best to explore it on foot, as some of the streets are very narrow and many are barely passable by car.

In Grimaud-Village you will find numerous restaurants, bistros and bars with offers in a wide range of price ranges. Certainly worth a visit is the L‘ecurie de la Marquise in the center of Grimaud. Very cozy restaurant with beautiful vaulted ceilings and traditional cuisine. Also highly recommended, but in a higher price category, the restaurant Les Santons located on the Route Départementale D558.
