The coastal town of Les Issambres belongs to the municipality of Roquebrune, which also consists of the towns of “La Bouverie” and “Roquebrune-sur-Argens”, which are located a little inland. The center of Les Issambres offers all shops for daily needs, restaurants, bistros and some beautiful sandy beaches, some with beach restaurants, over a length of approx. 1.3 km.

Also worth mentioning is the marina “San Peire” with the regular ferry service to St. Tropez, the main attraction of the region. You can find the Bateaux Verts timetable here . The ferries reach the port of St. Tropez in about 25 minutes, giving you the opportunity to avoid traffic jams and enjoy the Gulf of St. Tropez from the water.

The large beaches of Sainte Maxime “La Nartelle” and the town center of Sainte Maxime (approx. 8 km away) can also be reached quickly from Les Issambres without traffic jams.

Recommended restaurants in town are “L’Ardoise” directly opposite the pharmacy and “Les Mûriers” (in the Hotel Le Provençal) with a very nice outdoor area under mulberry trees.

We also recommend the beach restaurant “Borea Beach” right on the harbor and “Le 44” at the entrance to Les Issambres. Sun loungers and parasols can also be rented here.

During the high season table reservations are highly recommended for all restaurants!

If you are in a hurry, then of course there is also a good pizza to take away at “Fanfan” (on the outskirts of Les Issambres).

The best bakery in town is certainly “La Tarte Tropézienne” (open daily until 7:30 p.m.). An unbelievable selection of breads is complemented by the finest small cakes, all of which you simply should try. Not cheap, but exquisite!
